So, you want to be a lawyer! But you want to be sure that you are going to a top law school and are doing some research to check out the ones that are available. 1.Yale – Yale Law School has been at the head of the top 10 law school programs for ages, as well as having one of the top law school rankings. It is pretty hard to get admitted, however, because they only take 200 students in every year. These small classes mean the teachers and students can interact more and so that’s part of why it is a top law school.

2.Harvard – Number two is at Harvard and you have to have an awfully good resume to get into this top law school. It has the biggest academic law library in the entire world and is one of the top law school programs in the world.

3.Stanford – Stanford is number three on the list of top law school rankings. It has a very low teacher/student ratio and you have to have a GPA of 3.9 and a LSAT of 169 or above.

4.Columbia – Columbia is also a top law school and ranks number four on this list. It is an Ivy League School in New York City. The Columbia Law Review, which is produced here, is considered one of the best law journals in the country.

5.New York University – This is also a top law school and one of the oldest lawyer programs in New York. It was started clear back in 1835.
