The process is so fast that it results in continuous flow of the fluid. These pumps are used in industries such as the food industries and packaging industries. They are efficient and powerful. However, they need frequent maintenance for proper operation.

In general, using pumps are advantageous because almost all are easy to install, to maintain, have high flow rates and are readily available.
